Twitter is going to launch a new kind of tweet called audio tweet or voice tweet. This feature will be available only for iOS users for the time being as Twitter has announced nothing about the android users. You will be able to send an audio tweet of up to 140 seconds using this feature.

Twitter has made this announcement in its official blog as following

But sometimes 280 characters aren’t enough and some conversational nuances are lost in translation. So starting today, we’re testing a new feature that will add a more human touch to the way we use Twitter – your very own voice.

The social media giant Twitter is one of the big social media platforms having more than 320 million active users.

A lot of people not only write and send short messages using Twitter but also use it as a microblogging network.

From time to time, twitter has made a lot of improvement. Firstly, it allowed only text messages with only 140 characters but later on doubled it to 280 characters.

But to meet the need of time, Twitter not only relied on the text-only tweets and introduced the new features to send photos in tweets. After this, Twitter also launched the features to send gifs and videos through tweets.

Later on, it also announced many other features, for example, sending polls and smileys using tweets that added a new flare in the tweets to get the engagement of the people.

Now twitter has introduced a new feature of voice tweet to allow the users to share their voice in the tweet. However, this can lead to many other moderation problems for Twitter.

On the other hand, this may also be a kind gesture for the differently-abled people who are facing blindness problems. However, Twitter will have to enhance the twitter moderation technology to succeed in the launching of this feature.
